History of Pseudo Base Station Development

Document

In the mid to late 1990s, with the large-scale application of GSM networks, pioneers began experimenting with simulating communication signals, leading to the birth of pseudo base stations. Since then, the development of pseudo base stations has gone through several stages: Stage 1: The 2G/3G Era During this period, vulnerabilities in communication protocols, particularly the single-sided authentication loophole, allowed SSRP-based pseudo base stations to: Send SMS messages, Intercept SMS messages, Eavesdrop on phone calls. Stage 2: The 4G/5G Era In the 4G/5G era, used Redirection Method for sending SMS messages: Redirection Method: Using a 4G digital board to simulate communication signals and deceive phones into connecting. Sending a redirection command to the phone, forcing it to switch to a designated 2G signal. Finally, sending the SMS via a 2G digital board to the target phone. Important Note There is another method in the market that claims to send SMS messages through interference. This approach uses signal jammers to block nearby base station signals and then sends messages via a 2G SSRP digital board. However, this method is unreliable and holds no practical value. It is often a scam, so users should avoid falling for such schemes.
